What I have come to understand about this sect of Islam is that it is NOT a negotiable organization or people or group or whatever they want to call themselves. They are a terrorist regime that believes the destruction of Israel and the US will bring about their messiah. This may or may not include self-destructive acts that come in the form of retaliatory strikes – even preemptive strikes – against the nation of Iran by threatened members (Israel, US and even Europe). The notion that 22 August seems to be a day of great holy importance to them seems to ironic that it also happens to be the same day that Ahmadinejad is supposedly reporting on his official intentions of nuclear power to the US President and others; this news to come from a man who has outwardly made claims regarding the US and Israel soon not being part of this world, or something to that effect.

CBN.comNASHVILLE, Tennessee (BP) — Aug. 22 could be an ominous date for Israelis and Americans based on its significance this year as one of Islam’s most revered holy days, according to a Princeton professor who says Iran may be planning “cataclysmic events” to prepare the way for Shiite Muslims’ awaited messiah.

It is in the quiet crucible of your personal private sufferings that your noblest dreams are born and Gods greatest gifts are given in compensation for what you’ve been through.

Happy Tuesday, all!

Be blessed.

HAIL KING JESUS!
(bs.)

As I wrote last Tuesday, my cousin and a couple of friends went down to Borders Books and Music in Mesa to get our copies of “Save Me From Myself” signed by it’s author, Brian Welch, former lead guitarist of KoRn and newly reformed saint of Jesus Christ and brother to us. Well, I thought I would post a picture of the 5 of us standing pretty and posing for a disposable camera that took a pretty crummy shot – lol, but hey, at least we got this pic!

Meeting Brian Head Welch

All in all, the experience was totally fun – hanging with my buddies, waiting in line and chatting with the others in line. I would totally do it again! But next time, I’d have brought my own camera! Just didn’t think of it. This pic was edited in PS2 as best as I could get it – adjusted levels, contrast, colors and blurred a bit. It’ll work.
